Turn off wrist detection

We recommend that you wear your watch on your skin so that you can see your real-time stats on your wrist as you ride.

If, however, you want to wear your watch over a wetsuit, or you find that your watch sleeve keeps on knocking the watch off your skin, you can ensure that your stats will still be visible on the watch screen by turning off Wrist Detection. On your watch, go to Settings >  Passcode > Wrist detection.

There are some caveats to doing this. With it set to off, you won't be able to track your sleep, crash detection (not related to your sessions) won't work and you will also need to type in your passcode to pay using your watch.

You can turn 'Wrist Detection' on/off whenever you wish.
