
Get the latest version of Hoolan
Your Android phone and Garmin watch won't always automatically update to the latest version of Hoolan. To make sure you're getting access to all the latest features and improvements, please follow the steps below for each.
Android Phone App

Check whether you have auto-updates enabled for the Hoolan app:

Open the Google Play Store on your phone

Search for Hoolan and open the app listing

Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.

If the option 'Enable auto update' is shown, tap it to turn it on

If it shows 'Disable auto update', auto-updates are already on.

Visit our What's New page to see our current version number and a summary of all the developments in the latest release.

Check the version of Hoolan you are running:

Open the Hoolan App
-
Tap the blue cog icon in the top right to access Settings

Scroll to the bottom to view the version number (ignore the number in brackets).

If you are not on the most recent version, update manually:

Open the Google Play Store and search for Hoolan

Tap Update alongside our logo.

Garmin App
-
Check whether you have auto-updates enabled for Hoolan:

Open the Connect IQ app on your phone

Tap My Device (or select your device from the list)

Tap Manage Apps

Tap the gear icon ⚙️ next to Hoolan

Toggle on Auto Update

Visit our What's New page to see our current version number and a summary of all the developments in the latest Garmin app release.

Check the version of Hoolan you are running:

On your Garmin watch, open the Hoolan App

Navigate to Hoolan's Settings

Select 'About' to view the version number

If you are not on the most recent version, update manually:
Open the Garmin Connect app on your phone and tap the refresh icon in the top right.
