PRIVACY SETTINGS
With our connections feature, we have introduced new privacy settings, allowing you to fully control who can see your profile and your sessions. By default, your data is private.

To access your settings: Profile > Settings> Privacy Settings
NOTIFICATIONS
Choose to be notified about new events, such as a friend posting a session or when someone starts following you. By default, notifications are set to 'off'.
To manage your preferences: Profile > Settings > Push Notifications

Profile
Head over to the new profile section where you can now edit your details and add a profile picture. We've also now moved the app settings to the profile section.
Jump Takeoff Speed
Track your horizontal speed on takeoff to push your jumps even higher.
Transition Entry & Exit Speed
See how much speed you carry into your turns and how much speed you maintain when exiting your turns.
Foil Assist Tracking
For the foiling activities we support, track the sessions where you were using a foil assist device to help you get up on the foil: Session > Edit Activity & Kit > Select your board type. Foil assist now appears as an option. If selected, a foil assist icon will appear in your session summary.

In this release we're pleased to introduce the following:
NEW
Wind speed units
You can now set different measurement units for wind speed and for general riding speed.
Go to 'Settings' on the Hoolan Android app and update your preferences.
Larger text formatting
We know that some people prefer to use larger font sizes when using their phone, so we've updated the layout of our app to better handle larger font sizes.
New max speed metrics
Max air speed for jumps and max speed during a transition.
Authentication update
The cloud provider that we use to manage the sign-in and sign-up flow is requesting that we move to their new technology stack. As a result, we're updating Hoolan to ensure uninterrupted access to your account.
IMPROVED
Sign in and sign up flow
You can now more easily request a new verification link if the first one isn’t received.
Garmin's integration flow
It is now clearer that Garmin activities will only be imported from the moment someone’s Garmin and Hoolan accounts are connected.
